At our first event we advocated for refugee rights by sending postcards to senators, the house of representatives, and the president.

We listened to a speaker via zoom regarding an Afghan Adjustment Act that will be passed or rejected by congress in the near future. We signed up for slot times to do “call-ins” to congress to push for action and advocate for refugee rights and the Afghan Adjustment Act to be passed.
